  • Love Saves Tomorrow: Sustainability
Love Saves the Day is our love letter to music and its community. We take pride in producing a high quality, inclusive event that nourishes the grassroots scene here in Bristol, and can be enjoyed by everyone who wants to attend. We believe we need to act urgently on the climate and nature emergency, in a way that is fair for everyone. Reducing the impact we have on the planet is a priority in every element of the festival, from planning and production to partnerships and marketing. We carry a responsibility to ensure future generations can experience the joy of live music and being together at a festival. We want everyone to arrive at Love Saves the Day with an attitude of care towards each other, our beautiful home at Ashton Court Estate, and the wider environment. After all, there is No Music on a Dead Planet. What can you do to help? Bring a reusable water bottle Walk, cycle, or catch the bus Use the bins, bin your butts Eat at least one veggie meal onsite Clean your plate, compost your plate! Shop your festival outfits second hand, make or borrow them Be kind, don’t be a bystander & Leave No Trace For more information, please see our sustainability page here.
  • Clothing, Footwear, and Preparing For Weather
Love Saves The Day takes place in Ashton Court, which is an open air green-field site. It has some limited pavement, gravel and tarmac paths on the peripheral entrances and exits, however most of the space consists of grass and green space. While there will be some sheltered areas (some small tents and marquees), it is predominantly an open-air event, with most stages uncovered - we would advise all attendees to be prepared for the unpredictable and increasingly adverse British summer weather. Prepare for rain and mud or heat and dust by bringing layers and packable clothing / provisions such as waterproof coats, hats, sunglasses and sunscreen. Ground conditions are also weather dependent; if we experience extreme weather the ground may become muddy and the grass may well get churned up, or may dry out unevenly, so appropriate footwear is advised.
