SustainabilityFor full details on our sustainable pledges, and how we’re keeping our festivals green, please check out our sustainability page here. Love Saves The Day is committed to making our event more sustainable. Reducing the impact our festival has on the planet is a priority in every element of the festival, from planning and production to sales and marketing. We want artists and festival-goers to arrive with an eco-conscious attitude and willingness to respect the site and our wider planet. We engage ourselves to apply and promote a REFUSE - REDUCE - REUSE - REPURPOSE - RECYCLE mind frame in everything we do. We have signed up to the Drastic on Plastic pledge and will no longer be using single use plastic on our festival site. Due to being a single use plastic, and in line with our sustainability policy and Love Saves Tomorrow ethos, glitter (including bioglitter) is banned on site. What can you do to help? Bring a reusable water bottle Walk, cycle, or catch the bus Recycle your waste in the appropriate bins Eat at least one veggie meal onsite Shop your Love Saves The Day outfits second hand or borrow them Be kind, don’t be a bystander & Leave No Trace For more information, please see our sustainability report here.

Clothing, Footwear, and Preparing For WeatherLove Saves The Day takes place in Ashton Court, which is an open air green-field site. It has some limited pavement, gravel and tarmac paths on the peripheral entrances and exits, however most of the space consists of grass and green space. While there will be some sheltered areas (some small tents and marquees), it is predominantly an open-air event, with most stages uncovered - we would advise all attendees to be prepared for the unpredictable and increasingly adverse British summer weather. Prepare for rain and mud or heat and dust by bringing layers and packable clothing / provisions such as waterproof coats, hats, sunglasses and sunscreen. Ground conditions are also weather dependent; if we experience extreme weather the ground may become muddy and the grass may well get churned up, or may dry out unevenly, so appropriate footwear is advised.
